Use the Powerspout Higher Voltage models where the battery is more than 30 metres from the turbine or if using the LH turbine or if using a PLT with variable valve option. Powerspout models are voltage rated to operate with all tested MPPT regulators however high head sites must use a KLAMPIT where the design sheet indicates over volts. Failure to do this will destroy the MPPT unit. Turbines fitted with KLAMPIT are designated with suffix 'C'
